Overview

Hole in the Wall is situated on the east side of the River Wye, just outside of Ross. 


Follow the River Wye closely and explore its loops and stretches.  Enjoy the scenic villages of Hoarwithy, How Caple and Hole in the Wall.  There are few climbs, but the views will make them worth it.   Add to this a selection of very fine pubs on both sides of the river and you’ve got yourself a wonderful day out cycling .

There's no shortage of things to do in and around Ross.  Whether it's visiting art galleries, canoeing, fishing abseiling, cycling, walking or shopping - there's something for everyone. On it's doorstep there's The Forest of Dean, Symonds Yat, Goodrich Castle, Tintern Abbey, Monmouth and the Malvern Hills.  All offering a host of activities and things to do.  You certainly won't be bored!

There are plenty of refreshment choices in Ross-on-Wye, or you could grab a pint, cup of tea or light lunch at either Loughpool, the New Harp Inn, Hoarwithy Cottage of content, Carey Green Man or the Forge and Ferry, Fownhope.
